Built for the people
who keep productions running.
We built FiftyOne because we've been the person chasing timecards at midnight. There's a better way.

Production has always moved fast. Payroll never caught up.
FiftyOne was built by people who've lived the chaos of production finance firsthand — chasing crew paperwork between takes, reconciling handwritten timecards at midnight, and hoping the payroll export doesn't break before the pay run.
We saw that the tools production teams relied on were designed for office workers, not sets. So we built something purpose-fit: a payroll and workflow platform that handles the complexity of entertainment production without turning the work into a second job.
Today FiftyOne powers productions across commercials, film, television, and live events — handling millions in crew payments with a system that's as fast and flexible as the industry it serves.
Entertainment payroll doesn't work like regular payroll.
Day rates, union rules, 1099s, last-minute crew changes — the complexity is real, and generic tools weren't built for it. When payroll breaks down on a production, everyone feels it. Crew lose trust. Producers lose sleep. FiftyOne exists to make sure that doesn't happen.
Compliance by default
W-9s, 1099s, union rules — the paperwork that protects everyone should happen automatically, not as an afterthought at year end.
Built for the whole crew
The platform works equally well for a PA submitting their first timecard and a finance director managing a 200-person roster.
Visibility at every level
No more emailing coordinators to find out where an approval stands. Anyone who needs to see the status can see it, in real time.
